Senior Associate, Internal Communications – Operations

About the role

We are launching Chase Bank in Germany and need a Senior Associate to lead internal communications for the Operations team in Berlin. You will keep customer‑facing colleagues and support staff informed, connected and aligned with the bank’s service and cultural goals.

Key responsibilities

• Translate operational changes and priorities into clear, actionable messages for all internal audiences.
• Maintain a disciplined communications rhythm and editorial calendar across intranet, email and collaboration platforms.
• Develop internal narratives and employee campaigns that link local work to firm‑wide objectives.
• Write and edit content on banking trends, industry news and human‑interest stories featuring colleagues.
• Advise senior leaders on messaging, tone and sequencing; prepare talking points and scripts.
• Plan and execute town halls and leadership events, handling run‑of‑show, content, speaker prep and logistics.
• Measure reach and engagement, report insights and refine communication strategies.
• Maintain stakeholder maps, distribution lists and a single source of truth for templates and evergreen content.
• Provide on‑the‑ground external communications support in Germany when required.

Required profile

• Significant experience in internal communications or a related degree.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English with strong editing abilities.
• Proven ability to simplify complex operational topics for diverse audiences.
• Experience designing and delivering leadership forums and events.
• Excellent editorial judgment and stakeholder management across senior levels.
