Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

bunch is building the backbone of private markets with an integrated, AI‑powered platform. As a Backend Engineer you will own the design and delivery of core services that power the product, influencing the roadmap and shaping high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services that solve real customer problems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to discover problems and create technical solutions.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and improvements.
• Enhance functionality, address technical debt, and improve team collaboration and communication.

Required profile

• Passion for technology combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• 5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in fast‑paced environments.
• Proficiency in backend development using TypeScript or another strongly typed language, SQL databases, and frameworks such as Nest.js or Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance tuning.
• Experience in fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing is a plus.
