Senior Backend Engineer - Kotlin (English speaking)

About the role

As a Senior Backend Engineer in our US/UK squad, you will ensure seamless data flow between voize’s AI companion and partner software solutions. You will design, build, and maintain integrations that connect our platform with senior‑care and hospital systems, directly helping nurses reclaim valuable time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interfaces that seamlessly connect voize with care and medical software platforms.
• Design and implement scalable APIs, setting industry standards while collaborating closely with partners and clients.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership from concept through implementation and ongoing maintenance of integrations.
• Architect thoughtful data models and sustainable solutions for complex systems.
• Deliver work that saves caregivers time, improves documentation, and supports frontline healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in backend development and API integration.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and Coroutines.
• Experience designing and developing APIs using REST or GraphQL.
• Business‑level fluency in English (C1) for effective communication with customers.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK or US.
