Senior CAMO Engineer (Helicopters)

About the role

HTM Helicopter Travel Munich GmbH, one of the largest helicopter operators in the German-speaking area with IFR and offshore certification and its own flight school, is expanding its team. It is looking for a Senior CAMO Engineer (Helicopters) in Taufkirchen. The role offers independent work and a career path from physical hangar operations to a strategic technical office position.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the continuing airworthiness of the fleet in line with EASA Part-CAMO requirements.
• Manage and optimise Aircraft Maintenance Programs and maintenance planning.
• Evaluate and implement airworthiness requirements, including Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and engineering changes (STC, MiC).
• Maintain aircraft configuration control and the integrity of technical records.
• Act as the technical focal point between CAMO, maintenance organisations, flight operations and aviation authorities.
• Support compliance, audits and continuous improvement, giving technical guidance on complex maintenance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline, or a valid EASA Part-66 B1.3 and/or B2 licence with relevant experience.
• Several years of experience in Continuing Airworthiness (Part-CAMO) and/or Part-145 helicopter maintenance, with a solid understanding of EASA regulations.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Experience managing Aircraft Maintenance Programmes, ADs, SBs, modifications (STC, MiC) and aircraft configuration and airworthiness management.
• Strong technical knowledge of helicopter systems; experience with Airbus Helicopters (H135, H145, AS350) preferred, Bell 206/407 or AW109 experience an asset.
• Proficiency in LTB400 or a comparable aviation maintenance management system, with confidence using technical documentation and records.
