Senior Category Manager – Commercial

About the role

As a Senior Category Manager (Commercial) you will be responsible for the global commercial performance of PERGOLUX’s tailormade pergolas. You will drive revenue, margin and market adoption across all markets, working at the intersection of product, marketing, sales and e‑commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Own global revenue, conversion and contribution margin for the tailormade pergola category and define go‑to‑market and scaling strategies.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks across the sales funnel (traffic, conversion, AOV, attach rate) and optimise based on data and insights.
• Ensure optimal product presentation, pricing, content and UX on all Shopify sites and maintain consistent branding.
• Pilot and scale commercial initiatives such as bundles, promotions, upsell logic and channel experiments, and provide playbooks and training to local sales teams.
• Generate industry and user insights to inform product development and, when needed, create website updates, ad copy and sales scripts.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in e‑commerce, growth, business development or commercial category management in a complex or global environment.
• Fluent German language skills.
• Strong commercial intuition, analytical mindset and ability to turn funnel data into action.
• High ownership mentality, bias for action and proven stakeholder management across global cross‑functional teams.
