Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Your work will keep Langfuse running — everywhere. Langfuse processes over a billion trace events per month. When a Fortune 50 company relies on Langfuse in production, they're relying on the infrastructure you operate.

Key responsibilities

• Own Langfuse Cloud operations: run production environments on AWS ECS Fargate and ClickHouse Cloud, manage deployments, autoscaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Build world‑class observability: own the Datadog setup, create dashboards, alerts, SLOs, and foster a monitoring culture.
• Make self‑hosting effortless: maintain and evolve Helm charts, Docker Compose configurations, and deployment documentation for thousands of teams.
• Automate everything: implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, automated scaling, and zero‑downtime deployments.
• Scale for what's next: anticipate 10x growth, design infrastructure for new product directions and high‑scale demands.
• Harden security and compliance: ensure cloud and self‑hosted deployments meet enterprise security and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Strong infrastructure or SRE background with passion for running systems at scale.
• Experience operating production workloads on AWS (ECS/Fargate, networking, IAM, S3) or comparable hyperscale providers.
• Comfortable with container orchestration (Kubernetes and/or ECS), Helm charts, and Docker.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Strong monitoring and observability instincts; Datadog experience a plus.
• Ability to organize work, with strong opinions on reliability, automation, and safe infrastructure changes.
• Interest in open source and helping users debug self‑hosted deployments.
• CS or quantitative degree preferred.
