Senior Commercial Project Manager – International Railway Projects

About the role

As a Senior Commercial Project Manager you will lead the commercial execution of international railway infrastructure projects, with a primary focus on our portfolio in Algeria. You will work closely with local joint‑venture partners, Siemens factories and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and control project costs, schedules and key performance indicators.
• Manage contracts, claims, opportunities and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with customers, factories and local management to align project goals.
• Coach local project managers and contribute to the improvement of local processes.
• Act as World Project Controller for NCM projects and report to segment, BU and Management Board.
• Support technical project management activities when required.

Required profile

• Degree in economics or a related field.
• Several years of commercial project management experience in the plant/business sector.
• Strong knowledge of export, customs, tax matters and financial reporting (IFRS, HGB).
• Certified Commercial Project Manager.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–15%.
