Senior Consultant – Actuarial & IT Lead

About the role

We are expanding our European Operations and need a senior professional to lead the Actuarial and IT function. The role combines actuarial pricing, reserving and regulatory advisory with digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead actuarial and IT projects covering pricing, reserving, IFRS 17 implementation and product development.
• Support appointed actuary functions for client engagements.
• Oversee the design and delivery of digital tools, actuarial models and data systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide innovative, tech‑enabled solutions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and deliver strategic client advisory.

Required profile

• Fellow or near‑Fellow of a recognised actuarial body (USA, UK or equivalent).
• Based in Germany with willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong command of English; German proficiency is a plus.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Actuarial software.
• Programming in Python or R.
• Experience with digital platforms, cloud tools and automation in actuarial processes.
