Senior Copywriter

About the role

Koto is looking for a Senior Copywriter to generate original, high‑impact copy and shape brand voices across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will lead the writing process, present ideas confidently, and help elevate the quality of work within project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create compelling copy and develop brand tone‑of‑voice guidelines for a variety of brands.
• Act as the lead author on projects, shaping ideas and direction together with teams and clients.
• Present concepts and narratives to internal stakeholders and clients with clarity and confidence.
• Deliver error‑free work, prepare persuasive decks, and structure compelling narratives.
• Work autonomously, provide constructive feedback, and support colleagues.
• Facilitate discussions on tone of voice, conduct analysis, and collaborate with clients.
• Manage your own time, calendar, and meetings while meeting strategic deadlines.
• Be willing to work onsite in the Berlin studio and travel globally as needed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience creating copy for a wide range of brands.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to clarify creative direction.
• Confident presenter with excellent communication skills.
• Self‑starter who thrives with minimal oversight and takes ownership of work.
• Ability to give and receive feedback, mentor others, and drive continuous improvement.
• Effective time‑management and awareness of task duration.
• Willingness to work onsite in Berlin and travel internationally.
