Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote, collaborative engineering team that builds and scales the infrastructure behind a globally used digital platform. The role focuses on improving reliability, performance and automation while enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimise large‑scale production infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Proactively monitor systems, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements for scalability, resilience and cost efficiency.
• Design, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe and consistent software delivery.
• Deploy, manage and support containerised applications using Kubernetes, Docker and cloud‑native technologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers to streamline deployment processes and support application delivery.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions and promote automation across operational workflows.
• Participate in infrastructure planning, on‑call rotation and operational support for stable production environments.
• Contribute to the evolution of monitoring, logging and observability platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing large‑scale distributed production environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration, including networking, storage and performance optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and familiarity with traditional on‑premises infrastructure.
• Proven ability to work effectively within distributed international teams, demonstrating ownership and problem‑solving skills.
