Senior DevOps Engineer – Simulation

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the development of high‑fidelity aircraft simulators. Based in Manching, Germany, you will join an international team that builds and operates distributed real‑time simulation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain DevOps solutions and tools for the IT infrastructure and simulation software environments.
• Set up, operate and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for multiple simulation projects.
• Consult and support software development teams to accelerate their delivery cycles.
• Promote a “Service Ownership” culture by coaching fellow DevOps engineers.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in DevOps engineering, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and distributed system operations.
• Ability to work in an international, multi‑disciplinary team.
