Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to own the journey from an approved pull request to production, making deployments fast, safe, and repeatable many times a day. This outcome‑driven platform role requires end‑to‑end ownership of delivery throughput and reliability metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise internal systems that enable engineering teams to ship code with high confidence.
• Own and improve delivery throughput and DORA reliability metrics across the organisation.
• Create and maintain a self‑service platform, tooling, and guardrails that allow product teams to run and own their services safely.
• Develop and evolve the CI/CD pipeline to accommodate AI‑driven code generation, review, and automated verification.
• Continuously iterate on the platform based on production learnings to ensure scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive outcomes without relying on ticket‑based work.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices, continuous delivery, and platform engineering.
• Comfort with measuring and improving DORA metrics such as deployment frequency and lead time.
• Ability to design automated, self‑service solutions that reduce manual friction for engineering teams.
• Willingness to work in a remote or hybrid environment across Germany.
