Senior Director Marketing

About the role

LGC Axolabs is seeking an experienced, strategic marketing leader to shape the overall vision, positioning, and execution of its growing portfolio of oligonucleotide therapeutics and related services. This senior role will guide integrated marketing across product, go‑to‑market, corporate messaging, digital channels, and web presence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead go‑to‑market strategies for CRO, CDMO, and oligo product portfolios.
• Partner with Business Development to ensure market penetration and develop value propositions, messaging frameworks, and competitive positioning.
• Develop and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate multi‑channel marketing activities, set priorities, budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Translate complex scientific and technical topics into compelling customer‑focused messaging.
• Oversee website strategy, content, user experience, and digital initiatives such as SEO, content marketing, email campaigns, and social media.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development, Program Management, Scientific, and Executive leadership teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in pharma, CDMO, and preferably oligonucleotide therapeutics.
• Proven senior‑level marketing leadership in high‑growth, purpose‑driven organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with scientific, business development, and executive teams.
