Senior Director of Performance Marketing (Remote)

About the role

Puffy, a nine‑figure D2C mattress brand, is looking for a Senior Director of Performance Marketing to own and scale a multi‑million‑dollar monthly paid media engine across Google and Meta. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have full authority over strategy, systems, measurement, creative testing, capital allocation and team building.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a multi‑million‑dollar monthly paid budget on Google and Meta, driving revenue while protecting contribution margin.
• Design and document spend‑governance rules (pause, hold, scale) and build an autonomous scaling system.
• Deploy geo‑holdout incrementality testing and a systematic creative pipeline (concept, testing taxonomy, briefs, analytics, UGC, whitelisting).
• Develop capital‑allocation models focused on marginal return rather than platform‑reported ROAS.
• Architect promo architecture across the retail calendar, aligning financing offers and funnel stages.
• Identify and pilot new paid channels beyond Google and Meta.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performing performance‑marketing team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level leader with extensive experience running large‑scale paid‑media programs for D2C brands.
• Proven track record of growing revenue while maintaining contribution margin.
• Comfort operating with direct executive oversight and building end‑to‑end measurement infrastructure.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into profit‑focused decisions.
