Senior Field Solutions Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

RobCo is building autonomous industrial robotics and seeks a Senior Field Solutions Engineer to lead on‑site commissioning and integration of automation solutions across Germany. You will work closely with customers, solution developers and program managers to deliver robust, AI‑enabled robotic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and integrate automation solutions at customer sites, travelling throughout Germany.
• Plan technical work packages, document project progress and act as the main interface to Technical Program Managers.
• Translate customer requirements into built, tested and commissioned solutions together with Solution Development engineers.
• Provide on‑site setup, training, acceptance testing and troubleshooting for customers.
• Create system documentation, operating manuals and test protocols.
• Interpret detailed 3D designs of complex automation systems and turn them into reality.
• Give feedback to hardware and software teams to drive technological innovation.
• Conduct tests and prototype new solutions in RobCo’s Munich robotics laboratory.

Required profile

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, robotics or related automation field.
• Willingness to travel regularly for commissioning and customer support.
• Experience commissioning automation solutions or similarly complex products.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, structured work style and clear documentation habits.
• Good German and English language skills.
