Senior Financial Controller – FP&A

About the role

Panasonic is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead month‑end closing, forecasting and business planning activities within a cross‑functional team. You will consolidate financial data, interpret performance drivers and communicate insights to senior management, supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end closing, forecasting and business planning processes.
• Consolidate P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow data under HGB/IFRS standards.
• Translate complex financial information into clear presentations for leadership, including the Japanese headquarters.
• Analyse current business performance, identify key drivers and comment on results.
• Contribute to planning assumptions, process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Own partial projects such as implementing new reporting schemas.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field with a focus on controlling, finance or accounting.
• 5‑10 years of relevant experience in a global financial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured and results‑oriented working style.
• Excellent communication skills across all hierarchy levels.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO.
• Very good command of English.
