Senior Fraud Operations Expert

About the role

As a Senior Fraud Operations Expert you will own the end‑to‑end triage and investigation of potential fraud cases flagged by our monitoring systems or business teams in real time. You will ensure each case is resolved with high accuracy and speed while contributing to the continuous improvement of our fraud detection framework.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full‑cycle investigation of fraud alerts, from initial triage to final resolution.
• Identify operational gaps and emerging risks, proposing proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share insights that sharpen detection and prevention strategies.
• Translate recurring fraud patterns into actionable, data‑driven recommendations.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to provide coverage during early/late hours and weekends.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in fraud operations within fintech, payments or a similar environment.
• Deep understanding of fraud typologies and ability to recognise complex patterns.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑direction and ability to manage a dynamic workload.
• Excellent organizational skills and composure as case volume scales.
• Responsibility for managing cases from triage to resolution with total accuracy.

Required skills

• SQL (or equivalent programming language) for independent data querying and analysis.
