Senior Fullstack Engineer – SAP Finance Automation

About the role

Join Serrala’s Senior Fullstack Engineer team to own end‑to‑end features of our payment and finance automation platform. You will shape the architecture, quality standards and AI‑augmented development practices for a global leader in finance process automation.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end ownership of features from RAP business objects, CDS modeling and OData services to UI5 screens, including performance, testing and rollout.
• Drive technical design, proofs of concept and architecture decision records in collaboration with product owners and architects.
• Enforce SAP Clean Core principles across all production code.
• Integrate AI and LLM‑based tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, reviews and documentation, raising the team’s AI maturity.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing to mentor junior and mid‑level engineers.
• Collaborate in small, autonomous product teams with direct communication to product owners and architecture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in ABAP‑OO, OData and REST.
• Several years of hands‑on experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), including behavior definitions, draft handling, determinations, validations and actions.
• Proven track record of delivering RAP‑based applications to production.
• Deep knowledge of CDS Views, business objects and service bindings (OData V2/V4).
• Solid experience with SAPUI5 Freestyle apps and extending Fiori Elements via custom sections and reuse components.
