Senior Lead Developer & Integration Architect – SAP CRM/IS‑U

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Lead Developer and Integration Architect to join our hybrid team in Germany. You will work on both legacy SAP CRM/IS‑U landscapes and the transformation to S/4HANA Utilities, collaborating with local experts and near‑shore/off‑shore teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop applications in SAP CRM/IS‑U and S/4HANA Utilities, including quotation, campaign, lead management and digital contracting.
• Extend SAP CRM WebUI/ICWC interfaces and create Fiori apps for S/4U scenarios.
• Own and optimise CRM middleware (BDOC/PI) and integration paths to S/4 environments.
• Analyse, prioritise and resolve incidents, execute continuous improvements and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Support data migrations, ensure system performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the S/4 Utilities roadmap in major transformation projects and prototype new technologies.
• Work in agile (Scrum/SAFe) setups and coach near‑shore/off‑shore developers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in SAP CRM/IS‑U development.
• Strong knowledge of energy & utilities processes (quotation, contracting, campaigns, B2C/B2B).
• Fluent in German (C2) and English.
• Comfortable in multicultural, agile delivery environments.
