Senior Manager, Controlling Manufacturing (m/f/d)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Controlling Manufacturing leads finance and accounting activities for a manufacturing site, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and cost transparency. You will own profitability management, budgeting and long‑range planning while partnering with regional business units.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for finance and accounting operations, guaranteeing accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
• End‑to‑end profitability management through cost analysis, inventory valuation and robust controlling frameworks.
• Preparation, coordination and continuous improvement of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and long‑range planning aligned with strategy.
• Execution of variance analyses on manufacturing, labor and procurement costs, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Leadership of month‑end closing to deliver timely, accurate financial statements.
• Implementation and maintenance of internal controls in line with EMEA GAAP, IFRS and audit requirements.
• Regional business partnering, target setting, consolidation of financial analytics and performance insights.
• Coordination of financial reporting across EMEA sites with local and global finance stakeholders.
• Development and tracking of production‑related KPIs to drive operational excellence.
• Leadership and development of a diverse finance team, including managers and working students.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a comparable field.
• 5–10 years of progressive finance leadership experience in a manufacturing or international industrial environment.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and advanced financial statement analysis.
• Deep knowledge of EMEA GAAP, IFRS and cost accounting principles.
• Proven ability to interpret complex financial and legal documents and communicate insights to all stakeholder levels.
