Senior Manager - Strategic Growth

About the role

DHL is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Strategic Growth function within the Supply Chain division. Based in Bonn with a hybrid work model, you will help accelerate global growth by translating market insights into actionable initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sector and cross‑sector trends to shape product and growth strategies.
• Define global growth priorities across customers, products, geographies and sub‑sectors.
• Develop and lead growth projects, including forecasts, go‑to‑market plans, value propositions, commercialization, and sales collateral.
• Contribute to digitalisation initiatives by building business cases, designing prototypes and running pilots.
• Collaborate with peer teams to maintain up‑to‑date industry intelligence.
• Share best practices and coach colleagues to raise skills and knowledge across the organisation.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of sector trends, market intelligence and competitive landscapes.
• Proven ability to create strategic initiatives, business cases and translate them into executable plans.
• Expertise in gathering and interpreting market and customer insights.
• Consulting background (desirable) and excellent facilitation, messaging and influencing skills.
• Experience managing cross‑functional, matrixed teams at global, regional and local levels.
