Senior Manager / Team Lead Process Excellence (12‑month contract)

About the role

As a Senior Manager / Team Lead for Process Excellence you will lead a high‑performing team to execute a 12‑month roadmap focused on tangible process improvements, cost reduction and enhanced customer experience across our global shipping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing Process Excellence team with a delivery‑oriented mindset.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, set milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Deliver improvements in cycle time, cost, quality and customer experience.
• Implement an agile operating model for efficient prioritisation, decision‑making and benefit tracking.
• Identify root causes, redesign processes and scale best practices globally.
• Steer performance using data‑driven insights, KPIs and governance frameworks.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and Process Mining techniques to detect and quantify bottlenecks.
• Lead cross‑functional improvement programmes and automation projects from business case to implementation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in Business Process Management or Continuous Improvement with measurable benefits.
• Ability to build and execute strategic roadmaps and convert them into prioritized initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC/Kaizen) methodologies.
• Understanding of Process Mining and experience with technical tools such as RPA and ODM/workflow platforms.
• Experience leading cross‑functional transformation projects with senior stakeholders, preferably in shipping, logistics or maritime.
• Excellent people leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities in a global context.
• Independent, results‑oriented work style with high ownership and resilience.
