Senior Master Data Officer – Hybrid (Berlin)

About the role

As a Senior Officer in Master Data within BASF's Regional Treasury EMEA, you will support the Bank team by validating customer and supplier master data, ensuring compliance with internal fraud‑prevention standards, and contributing to various optimisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and prepare new business partners in SAP R/3 (FI module) and maintain accurate master data.
• Execute mass‑change projects and manage small‑scale projects from initiation to completion.
• Produce reports and analyses based on internal requests and optimisation needs.
• Keep team knowledge, communications and publications up to date.
• Collaborate regularly with multiple units across the BASF Group.

Required profile

• Commercial vocational training or a relevant degree with first professional experience in master data management and project work.
• Confident use of SAP R/3, especially the FI module, and strong proficiency with MS Office.
• Comprehensive understanding of business‑partner master data workflows, process flows, and related products.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, goal‑oriented work style and high customer orientation.
• Fluent communication in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
