Join a leading consultancy to drive the future of digital infrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to spearhead the design and delivery of advanced mechanical systems for large-scale hyperscale data centre projects across Europe.

Missions principales

• Lead the design, specification, and oversight of critical mechanical systems including HVAC, air/water/hybrid cooling, and fire suppression.
• Act as the technical authority and Project Manager for mechanical packages throughout all project phases (concept, design, tender, and construction).
• Optimize thermal performance, airflow management, and energy efficiency (PUE) to ensure operational reliability and sustainability.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and CFD modeling to validate complex engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, tenants, and suppliers to ensure seamless project integration.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as liquid cooling, AI-driven maintenance, and modular/prefabricated approaches.

Profil recherché

• Proven track record in mechanical engineering within data centres or mission-critical environments.
• Expertise in managing complex mechanical packages from initial concept to final construction.
• Strong ability to lead technical discussions and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Commitment to sustainability and driving energy-efficient infrastructure solutions.

Competences requises

• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, cooling technologies, and fire suppression systems.
• Proficiency in CFD modeling and thermal optimization.
• Deep understanding of European building codes, industrial standards (ASHRAE, ISO), and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with liquid cooling and modular construction methodologies.
