About the role
We are looking for a senior medical professional to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of a global Medical Training & Education ecosystem within our Global Medical Affairs team. Based at our Frankfurt headquarters, you will work with cross‑functional partners to deliver impactful education programmes for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and advance a global Medical Training & Education ecosystem aligned with the Global Medical Affairs strategy.
- Plan, execute and monitor internal and external education programmes, tracking KPIs and optimizing performance.
- Identify unmet medical needs, emerging trends and digital education formats, integrating regional insights to expand reach.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with KOLs, partners and other external stakeholders.
- Support medical congresses, global events, product launches and medico‑marketing activities in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Design and deliver tailored internal training and capability‑building initiatives to strengthen medical excellence.
- Facilitate cross‑functional and global‑regional‑local collaboration to ensure alignment and knowledge exchange.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies and procedures and support compliance reporting.
Required profile
- Medical Doctor or PhD in natural sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy).
- Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 3 years in Medical Affairs.
- Experience in Training & Education, advisory boards and scientific events is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of medical strategy, scientific communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25–45 %).
- Reliable, authentic and collaborative team player with strong relationship‑building capabilities.
