Senior Platform Engineer (AI-native)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering Team and build the digital backbone that powers an AI‑native software development life‑cycle. You will enable our human builders to focus on architecture while intelligent agents handle implementation details, contributing to a renewable‑energy future.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a robust, machine‑readable context foundation that lets AI agents navigate our systems, ownership, and infrastructure.
• Ensure continuous and safe software releases, especially when built with autonomous agents.
• Create standardized “golden paths” for both human and agentic development.
• Prioritize work using KPIs such as System Availability and Change Lead Time.
• Design, build, and maintain resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in SRE, Developer Experience, Platform, Cloud or Backend engineering.
• Proficiency with agentic tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Strong understanding of Day 2 operations and system reliability.
• Excellent written communication to convey intent to both humans and agents.
• Residency in Germany and fluent English (German a plus).
