Senior Product Engineer – Open‑Source LLM Platform

About the role

Product engineers at Langfuse deliver new features end‑to‑end for a community of developers building LLM‑powered applications. You will own the product thinking from understanding user problems to shipping the solution, while gaining direct exposure to cutting‑edge LLM engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end: gather user feedback, write specs, implement code, create documentation, and publish changelogs.
• Work across the full stack – React frontend, Next.js backend, ClickHouse analytics, Python and TypeScript SDKs, Terraform modules, and public docs.
• Engage constantly with users via calls, community channels, and support tickets to shape product decisions.
• Write public documentation and present new features during weekly Launch Weeks.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and shipping user‑facing products or entire features from scratch.
• Ability to manage projects independently and develop strong conviction about what to build.
• Passion for great developer experience, API design, UI details, and clear documentation.
• Interest in open‑source software and enthusiasm for interacting with developers.
• Thrives in a small, accountable team where output is visible.
