Senior Program Delivery Partner – Cloud Transformation (Insurance)

About the role

Oliver James is looking for a Senior Program Delivery Partner to lead large‑scale cloud transformation programmes for insurance clients across the DACH region. This senior, client‑facing position combines strategic advisory, programme leadership, and commercial accountability to ensure successful cloud implementations and measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex cloud transformation programmes from initiation through delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in client organisations.
• Drive customer success by ensuring adoption, performance standards, and delivery milestones are met.
• Support sales activities, including proposals, solution planning, and cost estimation.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts with responsibility for revenue growth and delivery excellence.
• Oversee resource planning and resolve staffing challenges across multiple projects.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align delivery, sales, and partner teams.

Required profile

• Fluent in German (written and spoken).
• Strong expertise in the insurance industry with knowledge of at least one DACH market.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale transformation or cloud implementation programmes.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate strategically while ensuring execution excellence.
