Senior Project Manager – Consulting

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex client engagements for our consulting practice in Germany. The role sits at the intersection of technology and business, with AI at the core of delivery, and requires end‑to‑end ownership from scope definition to final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Own the client relationship, understand business needs and build long‑term partnership.
• Define scope, plan work, allocate resources and steer delivery across all project phases.
• Identify and mitigate risks early, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across borders, fostering ownership and collaboration.
• Manage project financials, forecast profitability and take corrective actions when needed.
• Embed AI tools in daily delivery, generating reports, roadmaps and KPIs, and document prompts and workflows for reuse.

Required profile

• Proven track record managing complex client projects, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong command of both classical (waterfall) and agile methodologies, with the judgment to apply each appropriately.
• Ability to quickly learn new domains and make decisive calls under uncertainty.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to represent commercial interests during contract negotiations.
