Senior Project Manager

About the role

Prysmian is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Transmission Business Unit in Düsseldorf. You will lead defined project packages from planning through execution, ensuring delivery according to contractual terms, specifications, schedule, and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal project teams and third‑party contractors or consultants.
• Create clear project objectives, define requirements, and manage cost, time, scope, and quality constraints.
• Serve as the primary contact for the client, resolving implementation issues and representing the company.
• Develop, monitor, and update the Project Execution Plan in line with company procedures and client contracts.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, reporting progress regularly.
• Oversee engineering design, procurement, manufacturing, and field activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Lead contract negotiations, manage variations, and handle payment disputes when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the oil & gas or energy sector of a multinational company.
• Proven experience with EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation) projects.
• Strong passion for project management and ability to work under contractual constraints.
