Senior Project Manager – Remote (Germany/EU)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT and software projects for our German‑speaking clients. The role is fully remote within Germany or the broader EU and involves coordinating onsite‑offshore teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver projects according to scope, timeline and budget.
• Define project scope, milestones, resource allocation and manage effort tracking.
• Serve as the primary contact for German‑speaking stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Apply Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies to drive efficient delivery.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, SLAs and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate technical teams, vendors and business units across onsite‑offshore models.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in IT/software delivery.
• Fluent in German (C1/C2) – written and spoken.
• Proven track record of end‑to‑end project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in the travel industry (airlines, railways, transportation) is a plus.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications are advantageous.
