Senior Recruiter – Global Talent Acquisition (EMEA)

About the role

eBay is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join its Global Talent Acquisition team in Germany. You will be responsible for sourcing and hiring top technology talent across Ireland, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and the Nordics, influencing the future of eBay’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to design and execute hiring strategies for multiple markets.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment from sourcing and assessment to negotiation and closing.
• Build and activate diverse talent pipelines through networking, prospecting, and new sourcing channels.
• Champion a candidate experience that reflects eBay’s values.
• Collaborate with People Operations, Business Partnering, DIB, and Compensation teams.
• Coach hiring managers and interview panels to ensure an inclusive, consistent process.
• Experiment with AI‑driven recruiting tools and share insights to improve the function.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technical recruiter, preferably in eCommerce or technology.
• Fluent in German and English; additional European languages a plus.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA labor markets and ability to adapt strategies across countries.
• Passion for technology, innovation, and AI in recruiting.
• Resilient, adaptable, and team‑oriented.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with leaders, colleagues, and candidates.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ATS and CRM tools such as Workday and GEM.
• Proficiency with sourcing platforms, especially LinkedIn.
