Senior Site Manager – Freelance (Owner’s Representative)

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level freelance Site Manager / Owner’s Representative to support a leading client on a data‑center project in Frankfurt. The role bridges technical delivery, on‑site execution, and the broader project team, ensuring that design intent is faithfully translated into construction outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site walk‑downs and technical inspections to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Review and respond to RFIs and technical queries from contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate technical information between contractors, on‑site teams, and back‑office functions.
• Support delivery by aligning design requirements with construction execution.
• Act as the client’s representative throughout the construction lifecycle, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering foundation.
• Experience through the design stage of construction (essential).
• Background transitioning from engineering to project management, client representation, or delivery‑focused roles.
• Solid understanding of benchmark designs.
• Confident engagement with contractors, consultants, engineers, and client stakeholders.
• German language skills preferred but not mandatory; data‑center exposure preferred but not required for mechanical candidates.
