Senior Software Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help train next‑generation AI systems. In this remote contract position you will apply your deep engineering expertise to shape how models learn, reason and perform using high‑quality real‑world data. No prior AI experience is required – your domain knowledge and coding skills are what matter.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software components that feed data into AI training pipelines.
• Implement new features, refactor existing code and ensure code quality across a large‑scale codebase.
• Debug complex issues, optimise performance and improve scalability of services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional, remote teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in software engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, detail‑oriented.
• Track record of successful remote collaboration in cross‑functional teams.
