Senior Tax Expert – Income Taxes

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Expert to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will work in a remote‑first environment with the option to work hybrid or onsite at one of our German locations. The role focuses on direct income tax matters for our international corporate group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns domestically and internationally.
• Provide income‑tax advice to affiliated companies and support during tax audits.
• Advise on transfer‑pricing issues and compile local and master files.
• Maintain and improve the tax content‑management system (CMS).
• Support M&A projects with tax due‑diligence and structuring.
• Monitor legislative developments and relevant case law at national and EU levels.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in tax consulting or a corporate tax department.
• Deep knowledge of income‑tax compliance and group structures.
• Strong self‑management to meet multi‑country deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, structured, and quality‑oriented work style.
• Fluent German and English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP systems.
