Senior Tax Specialist – Fund Administration (Frankfurt/Munich)

About the role

Join the Global Tax Function of Allianz Global Investors as a Senior Tax Specialist, supporting fund administration and operational business support in Frankfurt or Munich. You will act as the subject‑matter expert on product taxation, ensuring compliance across investment countries and guiding the impact of tax law changes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on tax matters for AIFs, UCITS funds and alternative investment structures.
• Analyse upcoming tax legislation and assess its effect on AllianzGI products and business.
• Coordinate tax‑related changes across the value chain, including service providers.
• Maintain and enhance the internal control system for taxation, designing tax controls.
• Support harmonisation of tax processes at European and global levels.

Required profile

• Certified tax advisor with an academic background or comparable qualifications.
• 5‑6 years of experience in business consulting, asset‑management tax operations or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of the investment process and related taxation areas.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in German and English.
