Senior Tax Specialist – Fund Administration

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tax Specialist to join our Global Tax Function within the Fund Administration and Operational Business Support team. Based in Frankfurt or Munich, you will act as the subject‑matter expert on product taxation for AllianzGI fund products and support compliance across our investment countries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on tax matters for AIFs, UCITS funds and alternative investment structures.
• Analyse upcoming tax law changes and assess their impact on AllianzGI’s business and products.
• Coordinate tax‑related changes across the value chain, including service providers.
• Manage and enhance the Internal Control System for Taxation, designing and maintaining tax controls.
• Support harmonisation of tax processes at European and global levels.

Required profile

• Certified tax advisor with an academic background or comparable qualifications.
• 5‑6 years of experience in business consulting, asset‑management tax operations, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of the investment process (front‑to‑back) and associated taxation.
• Proven project‑management experience and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
