Senior Technical SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical SEO Specialist based in Germany to lead technical SEO initiatives for a fast‑growing digital platform. You will combine technical expertise, data analysis, and experimentation while collaborating closely with content and engineering teams to improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI‑powered discovery platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the technical SEO strategy, working with content and technical teams to maximize organic visibility.
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits covering site architecture, crawling, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internal linking.
• Research, test, and implement new strategies for search and AI‑driven discovery, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
• Monitor and report on rankings, AI citations, click‑through rates, and other key performance indicators.
• Provide actionable recommendations for content improvements and SEO re‑optimization.
• Build AI‑assisted workflows to streamline SEO analysis, reporting, and content production.
• Collaborate with engineering and editorial teams to implement technical improvements and scalable solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving search technologies, industry trends, and new discovery channels.
