Senior Transformation Delivery Manager

About the role

As a Senior Transformation Delivery Manager you will lead high‑impact change initiatives across METRO’s European operations. You will help build a new Transformation Delivery Center of Excellence that drives the execution of the group’s most strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive successful execution of high‑priority transformation projects across the organization.
• Shape and establish the Transformation Delivery Center of Excellence as the central engine for implementation.
• Own group‑wide transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery with minimal value leakage.
• Act as a sparring partner to functional leaders and senior stakeholders, removing roadblocks and ensuring impact.
• Steer project resources such as project managers and analysts to maintain robust tracking, transparency, and disciplined progress.
• Report directly to the Head of Transformation within the newly created Center of Excellence.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience, preferably in consulting, private equity or banking.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering large‑scale, cross‑functional projects.
• University degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
• Functional knowledge of wholesale/retail commercial areas (e.g., supply chain, category management) is a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial, hands‑on, results‑driven mindset with strong confidence working with data and business cases.
