About the role

As the Site Leader for Galaxus' Distribution Centers in South Germany, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction of two logistics sites in Neuenburg am Rhein. Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, you will shape the future of a fast‑growing logistics platform, driving performance, innovation and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full strategic and operational management of both logistics sites, translating the company’s supply‑chain strategy into a scalable, high‑performing setup.
• Oversee the ramp‑up of the second site from go‑live to full operational maturity and ensure seamless integration with the existing network.
• Build and develop a cross‑site management team capable of delivering operational excellence at scale.
• Hold end‑to‑end accountability for all logistics processes, including Facility Management, Health & Safety, and Quality.
• Drive service levels, productivity and cost efficiency through clear standards, performance management and continuous improvement.
• Define and monitor KPIs that reflect strategic priorities and ensure consistent delivery across both sites.
• Guarantee full compliance with legal requirements, safety standards and industry regulations.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to continuously improve logistics operations.

Required profile

• University degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in logistics, supply‑chain or industrial operations.
• Proven track record of managing large, multi‑site logistics environments.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into operational results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
