SoC-FPGA Developer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled SoC‑FPGA Developer to design, verify, and commission highly complex SoC‑FPGAs for DSP and high‑bit‑rate network applications. You will work closely with hardware and software teams in an agile environment, supporting the HW/SW co‑design approach.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze device and system requirements to select optimal partitioning, architectures, and components.
• Develop, verify, and bring into operation complex SoC‑FPGAs for DSP or high‑bit‑rate networking.
• Support HW/SW co‑design activities and perform agile verification using evaluation boards.
• Document all work in accordance with aerospace standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good German and English language proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, Python and Tcl.
• Experience with Xilinx SoC devices (Zynq or Versal) and associated development tools (Vivado, Vitis).
• Programming of processors on SoC devices.
• Knowledge of high‑bit‑rate interfaces and measurement techniques for component validation.
