Social Media Manager & Content Creator – Berlin

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead the social presence of a globally recognised food brand in the German market. Based in Berlin, you will work within a top‑tier social agency, owning the end‑to‑end strategy, production and community management for this key account.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the full social media lifecycle for the German market – from ideation and content creation to scheduling, publishing and performance reporting.
• Produce thumb‑stopping, trend‑led video and visual content, filming on‑location and appearing on camera as needed.
• Act as community manager, engaging audiences in real time, responding to comments and keeping the brand culturally relevant.
• Analyse performance data, extract insights and inform the next round of creative work.
• Contribute to broader campaign concepts, bringing an audience‑first, culturally sharp perspective.
• Operate autonomously as the sole social lead for Germany while collaborating with the wider agency team.

Required profile

• Fluent German speaker with deep knowledge of German TikTok, Instagram and broader internet culture.
• Proven experience in social media management or content creation, preferably in retail, FMCG or fast‑moving consumer environments.
• Strong portfolio of trend‑driven social content that you have conceptualised and produced yourself.
• Comfortable on camera and hands‑on with filming, editing and publishing.
• Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy, balancing creativity with organisation.
