Social Media Manager & Content Creator (German-speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Social Creative to own the social presence of a globally recognised food brand in the German market. You will work within a leading social‑first agency, operating autonomously while collaborating with a wider team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end social activity for the German market, from ideation to publishing and reporting.
• Create thumb‑stopping, trend‑led content, including filming, on‑camera appearances and location shoots.
• Manage the community: engage audiences, reply to comments and keep the account culturally relevant in real time.
• Analyse performance data and translate insights into future content strategies.
• Contribute to larger campaign ideas, bringing an audience‑first, culturally sharp perspective.
• Collaborate with the agency team while operating as the sole social lead for this market.

Required profile

• Fluent German speaker with deep knowledge of German social trends and internet culture.
• Proven experience in social media management or content creation, preferably in retail, FMCG or fast‑paced consumer environments.
• Portfolio of trend‑led social content you have conceptualised and produced yourself.
• Comfortable on camera and hands‑on with filming, editing and publishing.
• Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy and can switch between creative production and analytical reporting.
