About the role

PayPal is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to own and grow its German‑market social presence. You will craft platform‑first content that brings the PayPal brand to life for German audiences while supporting global brand and business goals.

Key responsibilities

Manage PayPal’s German social media accounts across major platforms.
Develop and execute content strategies that resonate with German users.
Ensure all social output aligns with PayPal’s global brand guidelines and business objectives.
Drive engagement, spark conversations, and grow community interaction.
Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external creative agencies.

Required profile

Proven experience as a social media professional, preferably in a German market.
Self‑starter with strong collaboration skills.
Deep understanding of the German digital media landscape.
Ability to balance creative instincts with operational discipline.
