Software Architect – SAP BTP & Applications

About the role

Our client is launching a strategic One Billing transformation program to create a unified enterprise billing platform. As a Software Architect – SAP BTP & Applications you will lead the design of cloud‑native solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform, ensuring they meet scalability, security and maintainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the application architecture for SAP BTP solutions.
• Design cloud‑native, micro‑services‑based applications, including database, integration and UI layers.
• Utilise SAP BTP services such as Event Mesh, Destination Service, SAP Integration Suite and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards for performance, security and availability.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, technical leads and business stakeholders.
• Establish architecture standards, best practices and development guidelines.
• Review technical designs and support decision‑making throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture or enterprise application design.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional English proficiency; German language is a plus.
