Software Developer – Aerospace & Defense (Germany)

About the role

We are seeking motivated Software Developers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, working on safety‑critical aerospace and defence projects for Airbus. You will contribute to the design, implementation and verification of critical software components in a multicultural, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software modules using C, C++, Ada, Java or Python.
• Apply best‑practice development processes including testing, debugging, version control and integration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews, technical follow‑ups and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecom, Aerospace or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Willingness to relocate to Germany and adapt to a multicultural workplace.

Required skills

• Programming languages: C, C++, Ada, Java, Python.
• Version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of software development life‑cycle, testing and debugging.
