Software Developer ECAD (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer specialized in ECAD integration to join our Dresden team. You will design and implement customized connections between ECAD tools and PLM systems, ensuring seamless data flow for our customers across automotive, aerospace, medical and high‑tech sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end integrations between ECAD and PLM platforms, from concept to deployment.
• Manage full project lifecycle, including maintenance, enhancements and on‑site integration.
• Create technical concepts and interface designs based on customer requirements.
• Write clean, object‑oriented code using modern design patterns, test automation and documentation standards.
• Qualify, maintain and evolve the software both internally and at customer sites.
• Support commissioning, provide technical assistance and integrate solutions into existing IT landscapes.

Required profile

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Independent, structured and solution‑oriented work style with a focus on customer needs.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
