Software Development Engineer, Fire TV Experience

About the role

Join Amazon's Berlin team to build core components for Fire TV devices. You will help shape the daily experience of millions of customers by designing and implementing features across TVs, sticks, cubes, and other platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver features for the Fire TV multi‑platform codebase.
• Participate in Agile development cycles with full ownership of scope and domain.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Berlin and Seattle to align roadmap and UX.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

Required profile

• Professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
• Strong object‑oriented design skills and experience with design patterns.
• Experience designing or architecting reliable, scalable systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).
