About the role

At Snowflake, we are building the next generation of cloud data platforms. As a Software Engineer Intern in Berlin, you will work on enterprise‑grade, reliable, and secure cloud software, gaining hands‑on experience with database internals, large‑scale distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of cloud‑based software and services used by global customers.
• Collaborate on database internals, distributed systems, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Required profile

• Actively enrolled in an accredited university program (3rd‑year Bachelor to PhD) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math or a related field.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
• Programming experience in C++ or Java and familiarity with multi‑threading and concurrency concepts.
• Effective teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
