Software Engineer - Vehicle OS

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance developer experience and streamline deployment processes for its Vehicle Operating System. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to identify friction points, improve workflows, and increase the velocity and reliability of automotive software development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain tools, libraries, and frameworks used by engineering teams.
• Develop and test scalable deployment tools for automotive and cloud platforms.
• Optimize compile and build times using technologies such as Bazel, CMake, and Docker.
• Improve software deployment and data‑collection frameworks.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across the software stack.

Required profile

• 2+ years of relevant experience, or a high‑performing recent graduate.
• Self‑starter with a “can‑do” attitude and ability to drive projects independently.
• Experience with Python, Go, or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and build tools such as Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Comfortable scripting for automation and working on Linux/ARM systems.
• Experience with configuration‑management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
